Bhutan is a beautiful kingdom of around 775,000 people in a space the size of Maryland. Since 2008, it’s a parliamentary democracy, but the King still holds much and final power of the kingdom. The people are beautiful and gentle, and the land is stunning with mountains, yaks, and traditional architecture all unique to Bhutan.
